Two thirds Tuesday October 9, 2007, 0 comments

I just found out that more than two thirds of all Porsches ever built are still on the road.

Holy crap, (lions!) thats a lot. I can’t imagine many other car companies out there being able to make a similar claim.

It is certainly a testament to the quality and durability of the cars Porsche builds, and a testament to the desirability of those cars.

When one thinks of environmentalism, one thinks of efficiency. Certainly a fuel-guzzling sports car doesn’t come to mind. Not even counting the company’s very aggressive recycling programs, Porsche is demonstrating a level of environmentalism that few (if any) automotive companies can match.
