It all started with Y2K. Would the lights stay on?

The tech bubble burst. Planes slammed into buildings. Videotapes of terrorists, anthrax in the mail. War in Afghanistan, then Iraq. Bombs in London and Madrid. Tsunami in the Indian Ocean, Katrina in New Orleans. SARS in Toronto. Vanishing ice caps, polar bears mating with grizzly bears, global warming, climate change, hacked emails. The Great Recession. And finally, H1N1.

Goodbye 2000s. We won’t miss you at all.
